Binding a bit rubbed at spine and corners, endleaves lightly soiled and toned, text toned; jacket lightly rubbed, verso of jacket somewhat foxed. Fine. THE RARE FIRST EDITON OF WILLEFORD'S SECOND HARDCOVER NOVEL - HIS ONLY WESTERN; INSCRIBED BY HIM ON THE VERSO OF THE HALF-TITLE: "To Victor Eber - I hope you enjoy this, but don't understand it too quickly - Truly, Charles Willeford Jan 8, 1972". Signed copies of this title are exceedingly scarce.
