Checker Cabinet Trick. German, ca. 1925. A stack of wooden checkers and a glass resting on a short wooden stand transpose between three doors in the cabinet and underneath a decorated tube some distance away. Finely hand painted with tassels accenting either side. Uncomplicated internal gimmick requires no mechanics or levers to move. 22 ? x 16?. Unusual design.
