Chester Morris' USO Performance Archive. V.p., 1940 - 1945. Leather-bound scrapbook full of newspaper clippings, as well as professional and personal photographs documenting the stage performances, appearances, and travel of the members of the USO shows, including many Hollywood actors and entertainers.
Pages of photographs throughout, and includes an autopen signed framed portrait from then-Supreme Commander General Dwight D. Eisenhower, as well as from other leaders of the Armed Forces.
Morris performed over 350 shows and was praised by those around him for his dedication. Correspondence from soldiers, show spectators, business owners, and organizations involved in the war effort, writing to Morris with praise, including the Hollywood Canteen, with signed messages from then-President Bette Davis thanking Morris for his dedicated service.

Deterioration to binding, with brittle leather throughout; areas of loss to exterior; toning to sheets and images; many contents are now loose.
