[CIVIL WAR]. [FOLK ART]. Folk Art Carved Wooden Figure of a Confederate Soldier. (American, 20th century) Wood and stain. 37 h x 11 w x 9? d. At base there is a large split that has been filled and repaired visibly. Other splits occur at the groin area, the back of the figure on proper right side, the meeting edge of pack and body on one side and in the bedroll. General feel of work is intact.
