A fine copy of this beautifully-produced book. FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY BY SCOTT, INSCRIBED ON THE FIRST BLANK: ?To Rev. C. H. A. Bulkley, Howard University. With Compliments of Kate M. Scott, Brookville, Pa, Nov. 5, 1889." Bulkley (1818-1893) was a Presbyterian minister and published poet. Scott was a regimental nurse for the 105th Regiment.
