CLARK, Keith (Pierre-Jacques Fays, 1908 ? 79). Personal Archive of Ephemera and Photographs of Magician Keith Clark. 1910s ? 50s. Including a small folio scrapbook kept by Clark and filled with press clippings and reviews for nightclub appearances in America and abroad; a folder of printed matter related to his career; and many images of Clark playing the violin early in his career, along with dozens of later photographs of poses from his nightclub act with silks, billiard balls, and cigarettes; and five large lobby photographs of the manipulator retouched for artistic effect, including two well-known images of Clark manipulating cigarettes. Approximately 50 items, the largest 14 x 12?. An interesting group from the career of this nightclub magician and author.
