Original publisher?s pictorial wrappers (light bumping to extremities). FIRST EDITION, originally published as a paperback; a limited hardcover edition was printed twelve years later. Tulsa attracted controversy as much for its unflinching depictions of drug addiction, teenage sexual activity and gunplay as it did for its shattering of the narrative then popular in American media that such problems were relegated exclusively to the east and west coasts.
