Publisher?s decorative blue cloth stamped in black and gilt, recased with original backstrip laid down (spine and extreme edges darkened, light spotting to covers). Second edition, which corresponds with the third printing of the first edition, except the second edition is printed on wove paper and has terminal ads dated May 1, 1877. BAL 3369.
