Russell (1847-1930) was Cody's longtime personal friend. They met in the 1860s in Kansas. Russell operated the Buffalo Bar in Deadwood, SD, named after Cody. The men had various business dealings, even during Cody's various travels. An excellent and personal association.

Spine a bit sunned, half-title (frontispiece on verso) toned, worn, and creased, text a bit toned with occasional minor soiling, creasing. Very good.
