Coin Vanishing or Changing Plate. Circa 1880. Metal soup plate with secret spring-loaded false bottom for the vanish or exchange of small coins or beads placed on top. Diameter 9". Depth 1 ?". Rubbing and small chips to finish. Uncommon design.
