Volumes exhibit closed tears, chipping, but are otherwise intact. The Sibylline Oracles are a collection of fourteen books composed in classical hexameter verse and are comprised of Hellenistic and Roman mythology interspersed with elements of Jewish, Christian, and Gnostic legend. They were written and continuously revised over a period of centuries, with Book IV considered to be the oldest of the original fourteen books.
