Owned and kept by well-regarded British magician Stanley Collins and filled with clippings, handbills, and other printed material from the late Victorian and early Edwardian eras, including perhaps 100 or more contemporary accounts of famous magicians of the time, among them Max Malini, Valadon, David Devant, Mdlle. Aimee Desiree, Henri Cazman, Charles Morritt, John Nevil Maskelyne, Houdini, and others, many with accompanying sketches or printed photographs. Two bound in paper, and one a sturdy pebbled cloth 4to album. A very good collection of contemporary information regarding magicians prominent on the British stage over a 30-year span.
