Plain white paper with embossed stamps. Each page approximately 10 ? x 8 ?". Each page with three horizontal and two vertical creases, some wear, soiling, scuffing. With a small note on blue paper (approximately 3 ? x 2 ?") affixed to one of the pages ? this note is signed by General Bragg. Good. An unusual document, originally a Special requisition for a clerk to be assigned to the Stanford Battery, this document was soon used as letters between the aforementioned Confederate Generals about this requisition. An interesting and somewhat informal relic of the Civil War, in which separate orders weren't used on separate leaves. From the renowned personal collection of Dr. George D.
