COOK, Howard N. (American, 1901-1980). Portrait of Mrs. Cook. [Ca. 1930s]. Charcoal and pastel on brown paper. Signed at lower right margin. Approximately 47 ? x 29?. Lower quarter of sheet was taped (tape on verso) to the upper three quarters, with several horizontal creases at the seam. Edgeworn, chipped, with multiple short marginal tears, pin-holes near corners, sticker residue on verso at upper right corner. Very good. With the label of ?The City Library Association, Springfield Museum of Fine Arts? on verso, as well as their embossed stamp at the lower right corner.
