[COSTUME]. An album of over 110 hand?colored engravings from various 19th century travel and history books. Each neatly mounted on both rectos and versos, housed in a 19th century leather album (229 x 178 mm; joints worn with some separation). Subjects of engravings include Russians, eastern Europeans, English kings, French women, Moroccans, and others, all in their traditional garbs. Numerous are from Johann Gottlieb Georgi?s Beschreibung aller Nationen des Russischen Reichs,ihrer Lebensart, Religion, Gebr?uche, Wohnungen, Kleidungen und ?brigen Merkw?rdigkeiten (1776) and Shoberl?s World in Miniature (1820s).
