Crackle Finish Rice Bowls. New Haven: Petrie & Lewis (P&L), ca. 1940. A copper bowl of rice doubles in quantity when covered with a second, identical bowl. The rice then transforms into water. 5 ?? diameter. Some aging. Very good.
