CROSS, Edward (1774 ? 1854). Companion to the Royal Menagerie, Exeter ?Change. London: Printed by Tyler and Honeyman, 1820. Three quarters polished calf over marbled boards, with matching marbled endsheets, a bit worn. Spine lettered and decorated in gilt, with two bands. Folding frontispiece. 4to. Page edges chipped and worn, else very good. A descriptive catalog of some of the ?curious foreign animals? in this London zoo which Cross operated in various locations for several decades.
