CURTIS, Edward Sheriff (American, 1868-1952). A Later Self Portrait. 1951. Silver gelatin border print with single tone border on double-weight textured paper (untoned). Signed and dated with personalized inscription: ?To Dr and Mrs R. R. Daniels, Edward. S. Curtis. 1951.? This is a very uncommon self-portrait of Curtis one year before his death in 1952. Image 9 ? x 8?; sheet: 13 ? x 11?; mat: 24 x 21?. Unframed. Image is very crisp and bright, in excellent/very good condition. All proceeds benefit the Howard L. Gottlieb Foundation, which has been supporting nonprofit organizations in the fine arts since 2015.
