Illustrated. 702, [4, blank] pp. Publisher's full brown cloth over beveled boards, front board stamped in colors and gilt, spine stamped in blue and gilt, floral endleaves (spine and corners somewhat worn, light soiling to binding, hinges just lightly starting, text toned, a few gutters overopened). Fine. FIRST EDITION (not the ?Shoulder Strap" second edition). One of the best biographies of Custer, written by his widow. From the renowned personal collection of Dr. George D. Lacy.
