This is an auction replete with standouts. Works by Magritte, Tamayo, Paschke, Wirsum and multiple mixed media collages and prints from the celebrated Tony Fitzpatrick will cross the block. A significant work by Bill Traylor leads the Outsider Art session, alongside major works by Finster, Yoakum, Dial, Sparrow, and Dawson. Folk art includes a carved grotto Jesus and Devil train set sculpture from Wisconsin, and three oversize leaves by Ivan Albright lead the fine art session. Posters are both: Louis Dahl-Wolfe: October 18-November 27, 1985. Chicago: Jannes Art Publishing. Exhibition poster for 'Louise Dahl-Wolfe: A 90th Birthday Salute' held at the Museum of Contemporary Photography at Columbia College in Chicago. Features the photograph 'Mary Jane Russell on Leopard Sofa, Paris, 1951.' The first SIGNED by Dahl-Wolfe and Russell and dated 10/17/85. The second SIGNED by Dahl-Wolfe. Each 26 x 24".

[ALONG WITH] 5 Press Print Photographs: include a portrait of the photographer. Each 10 x 8".
