Vernon, Dai. Dai Vernon Topeka Lecture Signed Card and Token. 1967. Four pieces, including a brass Dai Vernon lecture token, in original paper sleeve made out to Compeer John Bowery; a card (6 ? x 3 ??) signed by all ten magicians who convened for the lecture: Dai Vernon, Fawcett Ross, Conrad Bush, Roger Klause, Bill Lund, John Dokulil, Carter Harrison, Bowery, and two others; and a clipping from the local newspaper announcing the lecture; and a reprinted candid photo of Vernon performing card magic for two women, believed to have been taken in Topeka (7 x 7?). Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Bowery, one of the attendees, who obtained all the pieces directly at the lecture; the letter also relates that the lecture was the first time Vernon met Klause.
