DANTE (Harry Jansen, 1883 ? 1955). Seven Dante Trolley Card Lithographs. Hamburg: Adolph Friedlander, 1931 (Serial Nos. 8746 ? 53). Stone lithographed images on cardstock bearing scenes from Dante's ?mystery review" including Fountania, the levitation, The Un-Sevilled Barber (decapitation), Cabaret de la Mort (Spirit Cabinet), and other images. Each 12 ? x 9 ?". Condition varies. Lacks one image to complete the set. These cards were posted inside streetcars and trolleys during Dante's lengthy European tour in the pre-WWII era.
