Dante (Harry August Jansen). Dante’s Sand Canisters. Glendale: Loyd, ca. 1940. A quantity of sand is poured into a large metal canister from a smaller canister until the large canister is overflowing. Even so, the magician can continually fill the larger canister to overflowing as many as four times. Largest canister stands 11 ½" high. With original boxes, each lid signed and inscribed in pencil in Dante’s hand “Personal property Dante.” Uncommon.
