On stiff card, 6? ? 5?". Initialed ?I.E.D. 1862,? initialed again in the lower right corner, and bearing the penciled caption, ?drawn by Ira E Davenport Chicago April 1862.? Dated again on the verso. The only example of a sketch by Davenport with which we are acquainted. RARE.
