FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING, PRESENTED WITH SIGNED 1PP LETTER FROM DE LA MARE TO J.G. WILSON LAID-IN. The letter, dated 16 Aug. 39, enclosed manuscripts (not present) for his children's play, "Crossings." "The part of the ghost had the supreme happiness & privilege of being taken once by Terry Allen..." 9 x 7". 

De La Mare is best remembered as the author of ghost stories and supernatural fiction. This collection presents one of Lovecraft's favorites stories, "Seaton's Aunt."
