Old cloth, gilt-lettered spine label. Cloth worn, corners rounded, old inked inscription on title page; ? Supplement a La Magie Blanche D?voil?e ou Explication. Paris: Chez L?Auteur Rue des Rats, 1785. Frontispiece, woodcut illustrations. SIGNED by Decremps on the final leaf (the page unevenly trimmed above the autograph). [Bound together with] Testament de Jerome Sharp, Professeur de Physique Amusante. Paris: Chez L?Augeur, 1786. Woodcut illustrations. The pair bound in contemporary mottled calf with separate gilt-lettered title labels, spine in compartments. Page edged stained red, marbled endsheets; ? Codicile de J?r?me Sharp. Paris: Chez Lesclapart, 1788. Original plain blue wraps with hand-lettered title label. Woodcut portrait frontispiece, woodcut illustrations and two folding tables at rear; ? and Les Petites Aventures de J?r?me Sharp. Brussels: J.F. Desoer, 1792. Frontispiece, illustrated with woodcut illustrations. Paper-covered boards over gilt decorated spine with gilt-lettered title label. All 8vos with Dawes bookplates, usual spotting, browning, wear, and a few marginal notes in ink, but overall good condition or better. A good group of these important French works on conjuring and mathematical recreations.
