Original black cloth, gilt?lettered spine; original unclipped (?$2.00") dust jacket (binding rubbed, lightly soiled, some offsetting, foxing to endleaves, edge of text block a bit soiled, some pages with offsetting; jacket verso with tape reinforcements and repair, jacket spine toned, chipped, jacket generally worn, soiled with a few chips, tears). Very good. FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING, without the headbands that are present in the later 1965 offset edition and is also slightly shorter (17.2 cm). The second book published by?Arkham?House, rare in dust jacket. From the collection of Christopher Grahame-Smith.
