Three volumes. iv, 306; vi, 306; vi, 426 pp. Two frontispieces, 130 woodcuts and twenty-five initials by Hablot Browne, one frontispiece and 38 woodcuts by George Cattermole. One woodcut each by S. Williams and Maclise. Half contemporary calf over marbled boards, spine tooled in gilt, black gilt morocco lettering labels on spines. FIRST EDITION; CONTAINS THE FIRST APPEARANCE OF BARNABY RUDGE AND THE OLD CURIOSITY SHOP.

Condition

Bindings generally worn with some restoration (especially visible on volume I), some toning, occasional creasing, thumbsoiling in text, hinges starting. Very good.
