Die and Mirror Casket. London: Millikin & Lawley [?] ca. 1875. A wooden die, placed into a handsome hardwood cabinet, transforms into a quantity of fresh flowers when the lid of the box is closed, then reopened. Mirrored back in lid of box, bone strike plate. 4" die. Mirror replaced. A fine example.
