Die Box. Likely English, ca. 1900. Four-door die box for the classic transposition effect. A die vanishes only to reappear elsewhere. Contains wood shell, wood die with inlaid spots and internal sliding mechanism. Ornate handle and carved bone knobs. 9 x 4 x 5?. Wear from use, otherwise very good.
