Rudolf Diesel?s retained copy of his own signed manuscript letter to Samuel Breslauer, following up on previous correspondence (see lot above) concerning the installation of his prototype diesel engine, during the design stage. Text is in German. 4to. Single leaf, 4 lines of text on onion skin paper measuring approximately 11 ? x 9 ??. Minor age-toning, edgewear, 2 small holes at left margin, otherwise in very good condition.
