[Disney Studio] Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck Pencil Sketch. Disney, 1940. Colored pencil character sketches on one sheet of five-peghole composition paper, depicting Mickey Mouse in farmer’s hat and overalls, and Donald Duck wearing a crown. 10 x 12”. Accompanied by a TLS from David Swift, dated April 18, 1940, with which the drawing was originally enclosed, stating that “my son, Bud, worked out Jiminy Cricket, one of the big hits of the picture [Pinocchio]. The Disney Studio is now busy on Fantasia…”.
