[ca. 1887]. 8vo. 4 chromolithograph plates. Original gilt-lettered red cloth, decorated and stamped in black, brown coated endpapers (spine slightly skewed, several stains to covers, rear hinge cracked at p. 129, pp. 131-134 in facsimile). Second Dutch edition, but the FIRST NON-TENNIEL ILLUSTRATED EDITION and the first nearly complete translation (only omitting the opening poem and the final chapter).
