Poster commissioned by the Office of Defense Transportation and depicts a man happily relaxing in an armchair at home with his dog, a fan, and a cold drink, promoting the idea of "staycations”-staying home for the summer and avoiding non-essential travel to conserve resources during World War II. Linen backed. 36 ½ x 26”.
