Double-Ended Phantom Tube. German, ca. 1930 [?]. Nickel plated tube can be shown empty ? and spectators can look through both ends, yet a production of silks is made from inside. Can also be used as a vanish. Cleverly concealed trap door swivels open to reveal the Phantom Tube-like load chamber. Height 11 ?" diameter 3 ?". Remarkably well made with tight tolerances and deceptive design.
