First front covers of the first issues of The Lost World and The Poison Belt inserted.  Bound by Poole in modern quarter dark green morocco over gray boards, spine lettered in gilt. FIRST APPEARANCE IN PRINT OF THE FIRST TWO PROFESSOR CHALLENGER STORIES. Issues include: April - November 1912 portions of The Lost World [and] March - June 1913 portions of The Poison Belt. Uncommon. Other stories or articles from these issues are not included.

Condition

Spine a bit sunned, scuffed (with some loss to lettering), boards a bit toned at edges with minor soiling, lower corners a bit bumped, minor light soiling to endleaves. Still, fine.
