DOYLE, Arthur Conan (1859-1930). Original watercolor and pen drawing by Doyle, titled ?Evacuate?. [N.p., ca. 1920s]. Watercolor on white paper (approximately 17 x 11?; 433 x 280 mm). Unsigned. Paper is unevenly trimmed, edgeworn with several chips and tears, pinholes at each corner. Mounted, framed and glazed. Not examined out of frame. This complex and frenetic watercolor evokes panic and danger as civilians flee before zeppelins and airplanes.
