Duck Tub Production. Hamburg: Willmann [?], ca. 1900. Large metal basin is filled with water. At the sound of a pistol shot, two or three ducks appear inside the tub, swimming about. Metal tub with internal spring loaded mechanism. 31 x 21 x 14?. Paint worn. Rare. Servais LeRoy would go on to improve the mechanism and construction of this once-popular effect. This model, an early example, is a rare survivor, as few large props of this nature are known today.
