DUNNINGER, Joseph (1892 ? 1975). Collection of Ephemera and Programs. 1920s ? 60s, including programs, booking brochures, handbills, Dunninger?s Book of Magic, and assorted clippings. One program INSCRIBED AND SIGNED to Dr. Dawes by Dunninger, and another with Dawes? holographic notes on Dunninger?s performance in Bridgeport, CT on Sept. 27, 1957 laid in, indicating the 1 ?-hour performance included not only mentalism, but the Egg Bag and Thumb-Tie. Also includes an envelope indicating these items were gifted to Dr. Dawes by David Lustig, Dunninger?s scriptwriter, in 1962. Ten pieces, the largest 4to. Generally very good condition.
