DURER, Albrecht (German,1471-1528) Saint Paul. 1514. Engraving. 4 5/8 x 2 7/8?. Free sheet hinged. Initialed and dated in plate lower right corner. Paper loss of 1/16 x 1/8? at upper left edge. Trimmed to current size. Tiny pinhole upper right quadrant at lower edge of white drape of cloth. Spotting and light staining in localized areas. Various stamped and handwritten inscriptions verso. Some legible. Fratelli Vallardi (stamped), L. m ----atte (?), 1691 (handwritten), F, J + B (triangulated in a small circle, stamped), other illegible handwritten names, words or numbers.
