Early 1850s ?Lemon Peel? Baseball. Circa 1850s, possibly 1840s. Classic lemon peel design with a single piece of leather tied off with four distinct lines, not connecting on backside. Circumference 7 ??; as opposed to today?s standard size of 10 ??. Leather rubbed, seams still holding. A rare relic of early American baseball.
