Austin: Pyramid Publishing Co., 1972. 4to. 70pp. White cloth stamped gilt. FIRST EDITION. A scarce collection of poems by the frontman of the legendary Texas psych group the Thirteenth Floor Elevators, written at the Rusk Hospital for the Criminally Insane where he was held after being diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. Approximately 1000 issues were printed by his family to raise money to get him a lawyer and get him released while Erickson was still institutionalized.  [WITH]: Roky Erickson Pin-back Button. Covers soiled and rubbed. Endpapers toned and soiled with minor spotting. Interior clean. Very good.
