Full royal blue polished calf by Riviere & Son, cover gilt fillet border, raised bands, spine compartments gilt with curling cornerpieces, red and brown morocco labels titled in gilt, interictally gilt turn-ins with alternating tools, marbled endpapers, a.e.g. Frontispiece. Profusely illustrated. Spine faded with light front joint rubbing near crown.
