Powell, Frederick Eugene. F.E. Powell’s Magic Wand. Circa 1920. Rosewood wand lacquered in black and used by Dean of American Magician Frederick Eugene Powell to spin paper ribbons produced from a hat or other device. 16” long. A label attached to the wand states, “Powell’s rosewood wand for spinning coils/Given JHG [John Henry Grossman] by Paul Fleming 1969.”
