Photograph on cabinet mount, with pencil identification of Farini including birthplace and age (28) on verso. Farini, who was born with hypertrichosis, causing abnormal hair growth, toured with Barnum & Bailey and advertised as the ?missing link? between apes and humans. 6 ? x 4 ??.
