FARMER, Philip José (1918-2009). "The World of Tiers" Signed, Limited Edition Series. Huntington Woods, MI: Phantasia Press, [1980-1983]. 8vos. Publisher's bindings, dust jackets, all in publisher's brown slipcases. FIRST HARDCOVER EDITIONS, EACH A SIGNED LIMITED COPY, ONE OF 250 COPIES. Titles include: The Maker of Universes, The Gates of Creation, A Private Cosmos, Behind the Walls of Terra, The Lavalite World.

In the 1990s, Farmer added two additional titles to this series (Red Orc's Rage and More Than Fire), not included in this lot. It seems that the five volumes in this lot constitute the complete signed limited edition run of this series as published by Phantasia Press. The World of Tiers is about a series of artificial universes created by decadent beings, who create lifeforms and celestial objects to entertain themselves.

Minor occasional rubbing to jackets, slipcases. A fine set.
