Illustrated with black and white plates; all volumes with hand-colored frontispieces preceded with manuscript caption leaf. Complete in 27 volumes. Bound in three-quarter autumn morocco over marbled boards, spines decoratively stamped and lettered in gilt in compartments, five raised bands, top edges gilt, marbled endleaves (some volume unevenly toned at spines, a few headcaps chipped, some occasional wear to bindings, some hinges starting). Very good. Each volume with the bookplate of Mary Welch on the fp. EDITION DE LUXE, #181/500.
