FINSTER, Howard (American, 1916-2001). The Empty Cross Shows Me Some One Took My Place?. #2,809. 1983. Hand-built and painted with 4 plexiglass panels in a shadow box with painted full background. Signed on the second plexiglass panel. 12 ? x 3 ? x 15?. Surface dirt. Minor wear. An early excellent piece. Last plexiglass pane is skewed forward at top. 1? gouge in wood at back left. Does not affect visual. Good condition.
