Fire Bowl to Flowers. Paris: Mayette Magie Moderne, 1930s. Brass bowl is produced from an apparently empty shawl, fire blazing from its center. A lid is put in place and when removed, the flames have not only been extinguished, but a bouquet of colorful flowers has appears inside. With spring-loaded bouquet and belt-hook integral to design. Hallmarked. Diameter 8?. A fine example.
