Floating Ball Casket. Pasadena: Carl Williams/Custom Magic, 1980s. Specially constructed chest modeled on the Okito original. The lid opens on command and out of it floats a large sphere. After the performance of the floating effect, the ball returns to the chest and the lid closes unaided. With a finely made tray to hold the box. Lacquer and decal decorated in the Okito style. Box 9 x 9 x 9 ??. One small paint chip, near fine. Likely the only such chest manufactured by Williams.
